Meet NeuroKind’s Founder - Jamie Wallis
When Jamie’s eldest son Jude was diagnosed with autism, he did the typical parent deepdive online to find out about neurodiversity and how to best support his child. Spurred on by the statistic that 84 percent of autistic adults are unemployed and inspired by his son’s incredible creative mind, Jamie researched the key factors in organisations across the globe that were successfully empowering neurodivergent individuals in the workplace to reach their full potential.
With the help of NeuroKind’s fantastic Advisory Board, Jamie - who was diagnosed with ADHD aged 42 - created the NeuroKind Charter to be an affordable-for-all pathway of easily actionable steps and accessible expert information to enable companies of any type or size to quickly establish a workplace framework where neurodivergent individuals can not only feel included, but thrive.
Dad to three young children and two needy cats, Jamie lives with his family in Norwich, UK.
